I always had an interest in the editing process of audio and video. My first experimentation with editing goes back to days of manually pause/recording a double deck cassette player or a handycam and VHS recorder. The first meaningful work I did in these series was a laborious collage of many famous Persian songs, with a tongue-in-cheek attitude. This collage was made using our family archive of roughly 400 cassettes, mostly of Persian traditional music but also some classical music and even speeches and lessons by political figures. The final work is on the beginning of side A of a rare 120 minutes analog cassette, somewhere in a storage in one of my relatives house, hopefully!
